Fluency in Spanish Language
In general, I am a very family oriented person. In the summer I enjoy spending my free time at my family's cabin in Chetek, WI. There, we spend each day on the water boating and swimming. At night we sit down to play a game of cards - Euchre, Jipper, Dirty Clubs, Cribbage, etc. Playing cards is a great way for my family and I to connect and wind down at the same time.
I have always loved to sing. I began singing in church when I was 5 years old and progressively sang in more events and choirs. In middle school and high school I participated in chorus class and preformed in each year's musical. I preformed at Solo Ensemble each year and always received high scores. I was lucky enough to get a scholarship for singing from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse and sing in their concert choir. And when I transferred to University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, I also preformed in the concert choir. I still sing for weddings and funerals in my free time.
Traveling is another thing that I have always loved to do, but just recently, I became an independent traveler. Studying abroad for the Spring 2022 semester in San Ramón, Costa Rica has been such an eyeopening and special experience. I have been able to grow independently, experience a new culture, and progress my language learning. This experience has made me think about teaching in another country one day.
