Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead high-performing mechanical design team.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to design engineers.
• Interface with customers to understand project requirements and prioritize design resources accordingly.
• Efficiently delegate tasks to engineering personnel based on project demands.
• Manage project timelines to achieve milestones and communicate proactively about deviations.
• Ensure designs comply with customer specifications and engineering standards.
• Organize and lead design reviews internally, and with customer or suppliers to validate technical soundness and compliance, as well as alignment with project objectives.
• Execute CAD design tasks, including 3D modeling and creation of 2D drawings.
• Maintain accurate product data within customer PDM systems.
• Provide support for custom order engineering requests.
• Execute administrative duties, including performance reviews and documentation.
• Adherence to project schedules and milestone completion.
• Optimize utilization of design resources to minimize project delays.
• Ensure reduction in design-related issues and rework.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
• Ensure successful outcomes of internal and customer design review action items.
• Ensure improvement in design accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
• Timely completion of CAD design tasks with high accuracy.
• Efficient management of product data within PDM systems.

Scoping, design, and execution of Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) upgrades to outdated pharmaceutical plant production areas. Upgrades required to maintain adherence to regulatory audit requirements. Substances such as Codeine, Morphine, Paracetamol, etc.

Ground up design and prototyping of new semi-truck trailers for transport of general freight. Updating of proto designs with testing feedback and launch of production, along with new production facility. All designs optimized for in-house manufacturing and maximized production line rate. Creo Parametric 2.0 used for CAD software along with WindChill PLM software.

Consultation to food and beverage manufacturing, as well as pharmaceutical factories. Design of support structures and process piping using Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Plant 3D. Project management on-site at time of installations.
