  • Transaction Capital (Johannesburg Stock Exchange Listed Company) have 3 subsidiaries nl: SA Taxi , Nutun and Webuycars.
  • We started a company called "GOMO Vehicle Solutions" within SA Taxi to extract value from financing vehicles (auto's) at Webuycars . Webuycars exclusively buy and sell used vehicles (autos). They buy about 500 cars a day and sell about 15000 cars a month. They have now listed separately on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange with a value between R8.7 Billion and R10 Billion [About Euro 428 million)
  • My job purpose is to be responsible for ensuring that quality risk evaluations are performed to ensure sustainable profit and asset growth.
  • Internal stakeholders: To promote teamwork within the Credit Team and Management , as well as with the GOMO Sales Team. I also had regular meetings with the Business Analysts and IT Department to suggest improvements and to insure that sufficient information is provided to do quality credit assessment.
  • External stakeholders: This will be Webuycars. To provide accurate and timely assessment of their clients auto finance applications. We aim to provide an outcome (approval , pending or decline) within 25 minutes of receiving the electronic application from the 12 Webuycars branches countrywide. My daily responsibility was negotiating interest rates , term of the auto loan as well as if a deposit will be required on a transaction ( especially where the equity was too high and not according to company policy).
  • Mandate: R800,000 per approval
