  • Leadership, spearheading the centralization and standardization of accounts payable and receivable processes across 42 CW location. Cultivating strong relationships with Business Unit controllers, Curtiss-Wright leaders, and the CFO office.
  • Operational Excellence, successfully re-engineered the Shared Service Center structure, resulting in a 20% redeployment of headcount to more value-added activities. Such as Quality Assurance, a Data Analysis, a T&E department and a centralized Master data team. In addition, I supported the Service Center expansion into areas that were not part of the original scope, such as tax accounting, internal audit, hired to retire, and others.
  • Financial Impact, expanded a series of financial services to all CW divisions, achieving $1.8M annual savings. Implemented different bank products and other projects, resulting in a $7.1 million improvement in working capital and possibly impacting DPO and DSO metrics of the corporation.
  • Process Excellence, introduced a culture of agility and established process control and monitoring based on LEAN principles to ensure quality and exceed commitments in Service Level Agreements. Define the center's Key Performance Indicators and SOWs.

  • Supervision of Accounts Payable/Receivable functions: I worked collaboratively with HR to maintain appropriate staffing levels needed to perform the functions of the departments, and I provided guidance and training to staff members.
  • Implementation of services: I played a pivotal role in implementing the Service Center for two main departments, Accounts Receivable and Payables, documenting, standardizing, and implementing processes in six different ERPs, such as SAP (S4Hana) and Oracle, among others, and across multiple locations and time zones in the USA, Mexico, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
  • Process Excellence: streamline processes and enhance consistency in services across multiple latitudes and regulations. I maintain compliance with US GAAP, corporate policies, Sarbanes-Oxley programs, and other relevant regulations.
  • Develop the center tools: Supported the development of a series of internal tools through a close relationship with the C.I.O. office, such as RPA, internal user applications, and websites to manage communication with customers and suppliers.
