Began as the first Costa Rica-based intern in the ArcMC development team, where I handled essential tasks such as documenting third-party libraries, researching licenses for internal use, and training the team on license compliance policies. Developed innovative solutions for bug fixing and enhancements using Java, while consistently applying clean coding practices.

Throughout my career, I designed, implemented, and maintained key product features, migrated legacy components to modern technologies, and improved overall system performance. Gained expertise in securing software by adhering to compliance standards, identifying vulnerabilities, and applying effective mitigation strategies.

After three years, I transitioned to a new team where I contributed to building multi-tenancy architecture and containerized applications using Docker. I also upgraded core components such as the JDK, Tomcat, and Apache to ensure system stability and security.

In 2024, I joined the XDR team, where I was responsible for designing and implementing new features to manage external systems, including integration with Grafana on AWS. This role strengthened my end-to-end understanding of the software development lifecycle—from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

I collaborated closely with QA teams, participated in code reviews, maintained detailed technical documentation, and mentored junior developers on best practices. I also implemented CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and managed Agile workflows with Jira.

In addition to my technical responsibilities, I volunteered in the company’s social responsibility and engagement committee, successfully leading internal projects and organizing events to foster employee connection and engagement

The web application was for internal use to optimize workflows and improve information access, the application uses Java as a backend, MongoDB as a database and HTML, JavaScript, CSS3 for the frontend
